The Venue

Creativity, Knowledge, Cities will be held at Watershed, a leading film and digital media centre in the southwest of England. In addition to conference facilities, the Watershed includes three cinema spaces, a bar and cafe and the Pervasive Media Studio, a space where artists, technologists and academics collaborate to explore a host of creative and cultural challenges.

Getting to Bristol

By Road

From the M4, exit at junction 19 and take the M32 to the city centre. From the M5, exit junction 18 and the follow the A4 Portway (to Bristol Airport). Parking is available at Millennial Square Underground car park, a 5 minute walk from the Watershed.

By Rail

Bristol is easily accessible by train. Bristol Temple Meads railway station is located in the city centre, an approximately 20 minute walk away from Watershed. Or take bus #73 to the Queen Square stop. Walk south to Farr’s Lane and turn right. Cross the bridge and head right. Watershed will be on your left.

By Air

Bristol Airport is 8 miles from the city centre and offers direct service to cities across the UK and Europe such as Amsterdam, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Brussels and Dublin.  

Where to Stay

Nearby hotels include Ibis Bristol Centre, Mercure Bristol Grand, and Brooks Guest House. Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa and Bristol Hotel are more upmarket but very convenient.
