Stephen has worked on Smart Cities since the term was first invented. He passionately believes that Smart Cities should be creative, fun, inclusive and democratic places – as well as productive and efficient.
Stephen is founder and Director of Bristol Futures Global Ltd. – a leading UK Smart Cities consultancy. He acts as strategic Adviser on Smart Cities and Regions to the West of England Combined Authority and is a Fellow of the University of Bristol. Stephen is also a Trustee of the Bristol Architecture Centre. Stephen has a severe visual impairment, which gives him a unique and valuable outlook on the world.
