Mafalda Corrêa Nunes PhD fellow in Sociology, ICS-ULisboa

I Hold a BA in Art History from the NOVA University of Lisbon (FCSH) and a MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths college – University of London. Since 2011, I have been working at the intersection of Arts and Urbanism in project management, programming and production within the cultural sector in Portugal and abroad. Among other projects, I have worked for Guimarães 2012 – European Capital of Culture in the ‘Art and Architecture’ cluster and in the ‘City’ cluster; for the Placemaking and Cultural Consultancy Futurecity in London; and for the ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics in Berlin. Most recently, I have completed an intensive program on Global Urban Studies at the University of Copenhagen. At present I am PhD fellow in Sociology at the ICS-ULisboa within the H2020 project ROCK – Regeneration and Optimization of Cultural heritage in creative and Knowledge cities.
