Dr Peter Campbell is a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology at the University of Liverpool, specialising in social research methods and cultural policy. His most recent monograph, ‘Persistent Creativity: Making the Case for Art, Cultural and the Creative Industries’, considers the rise of a dominant discourse regarding ‘creativity’ and the ways in which this is substantiated and made manifest. He is currently working on research into the funding of artistic practice in the context of post-conflict Northern Ireland in partnership with Ulster University and Queens University Belfast.
