Workshop: Resisting the Creative City
This workshop will build on ideas developed in the first workshop session, Rethinking the Creative City: Sites, Measures, Methods (https://ckc-conf.co.uk/2019/?session=workshop-rethinking-the-creative-city-sites-measures-methods). Attendees who did not participate in the first session are welcome to join the second workshop.
Participants will first identify challenges to implementing ‘utopian’ projects. Drawing on the group’s experiences, we will then collectively identify resources, tactics, strategies, and everyday political practices that could help to overcome challenges and lead to more just outcomes.
